On August 18th, our faculty member Nicole Smith was diagnosed with breast cancer. Thankfully, she caught it early & has the best team of doctors working to help her battle the disease. She is afraid & sad, but also feels extremely brave, incredibly lucky & immensely loved & supported by the army of people she is surrounded by. In typical Ms. Nicole style, she is taking her obstacle and trying to turn it into something positive for not only herself but for others. Please join us in supporting Nicole as she leads into her double mastectomy while supporting our local Florida Breast Cancer Foundation to help others that face similar obstacles. Nicole is only 30 years old and was not required to have a mammogram for another 10 years. Stay informed and encourage your loved ones to do self exams or schedule an over due mammagram.
